e-Clinics June-July 2008

In June 2008 Professor John Mulliken of the Boston Childrens hospital craniofacial centre and Tony Moss ,London were involved in an exciting new e clinic project designed by the xfactor team founders. The e clinic was set up to help with difficult Plastic surgery and craniofacial problems in the different governorates of Yemen.
 

Target hospitals and trainees across the country were invited to send in the digital images of difficult cases. These cases were presented to the overseas specialists for accurate diagnosis and advice in management.

Over 25 difficult cases were seen this way. As a result, more Yemeni patients can now benefit from more advanced treatment for their Plastic surgery problems.
 

The charity is thankful for this new addition to the ongoing work among poor patients in the country.
