A three day cleft charity camp was conducted
for eight cleft lip and palate children from the Sana’a and Hais
regions. The programme was run by the local medical staff of
Hadda hospital along with the sponsorship of Heiva,Travis, Richard and
their team from the US embassy, Sana’a.
All the children did well postoperatively and
are being followed up by the medical care team in Hais. Some of the
children would need several follow up surgeries at a later date.
